Do you want to contribute to a growing and sustainable Ljusdal? Here at Community Planning, we work strategically with urban planning, housing, and establishments to create a more attractive Ljusdal.

The unit consists of 11 employees within community planning, land and development, as well as mapping and measurement. We are now looking for a planning engineer who wants to work broadly with physical planning and development issues.

The work is free and flexible, and you control how you organize your work. We prioritize business development and training for employees and work closely together based on combined competence and experience. We also value time for reflection, collaboration, and discussion to ensure the quality of our methods and decisions. The workplace is centrally located in Ljusdal, close to shops, restaurants, and bus and train stations with good connections to both Hudiksvall, Bollnäs, and Gävle.

Working for Ljusdal municipality means, among other things, that you can take advantage of a wellness allowance, currently up to 3000 kronor per year. There is also the possibility of flexible hours tailored to employees' needs. After consultation with the manager, there is an opportunity for remote work up to 40 percent per week.

Responsibilities

Your role will primarily be to handle detailed plans and other types of investigations related to physical planning. The unit collaborates closely with many other departments and units within the municipality.

You will independently lead the planning process and manage all components involved. You are responsible for the preparation of the case from application to legal force. Collaboration occurs, in addition to your closest colleagues, with authorities and other municipal administrations. Dialogue takes place with clients and residents.

Working in a politically governed organization also requires you to present your planning proposal to politicians in a clear, well-formulated, and engaging manner.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a college or university degree in physical planning, urban planning, planning architecture, or similar. You have experience in detailed planning according to the Planning and Building Act and are used to leading planning processes independently and have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have worked in AutoCAD Focus Detailed Plan or equivalent and if you have worked in a politically governed organization.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Conditions

The employment is a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement.
